Miss Bee
Chapter 3
The man pulled in his driveway, and told Miss Bee. We're home you stay
in here
while I let Ritz out of his cage. Miss Bee thought I wish I was home!
The man
returned, and carried her inside of a building. He laid her down on a
table. He threw
a soft blanket over her, and told her to stay there, he would be a back
soon.
Miss Bee glanced around, she saw a lot of kittens, and cats in cages.
They all
starred at her, and smiled. She thought this guy must be a good master
everyone
looked happy. Miss Bee laid her head down on the soft blanket. She was
just
getting ready to drift off to sleep. When all of a sudden the man stuck
her with
something sharp.
Miss Bee squealed, and thought maybe he isn't a good person after all.
She noticed
he left the door ajar. Miss Bee mumbled softly I should try, and get
out of here. She
tried to hold her head up, and the room spun. She could feel her body
going limp.
Miss Bee wondered what he had done to her. She tried to fight the
sleep. Her head felt funny, and she
couldn't think clearly. Miss Bee dropped off into a deep sleep.
George ran up to Buck, and Gypsy, they were wrestling in their front
yard. He told
them about Miss Bee. Buck told George, they should go fetch Ritz, he
could sniff
out anything. George mumbled that would be fine with him. He said, I
need all the
help I can get.
They all went to Ritz's house he was lying on the front porch. George
felt out of
place. He stopped, and starred at the big coonhound. Buck said,
"George" relax he
won't hurt you. I mean take a good look around you! George never saw so
many
animals in his born days. He asked, "why do they keep them caged?" Buck
replied,
"I have know ideal!"
Gypsy ran up to Ritz, and explained everything to him. Ritz grinned
and told her,
the kitty was ok! He, and his master had found her in the forest. Ritz
starred at
George, he was getting nervous. George thought if he jumps me. I won't
have a
chance. He has paws bigger than my head. Buck ran over to George and
said, "you
don't have to look any further." Georges heart sank in his chest. He
stuttered and
asked is, "she dead?"
Buck pawed, him on top of the head, and replied, "no silly she's
resting." Buck told
him about the surgery, and how Ritz, and his master found her. George,
mumbled
"Buck" if I felt any lighter I would float away. Buck laughed, and
said, "sounds like
love to me." "She is very special to me, "George, stated.
Miss Bee woke to voices, she thought she heard George. She glanced
around but,
there was no one there except for Ritz's master. She thought I must
have been
dreaming. The man padded her and said, "you will be fine in a couple of
weeks."
Miss Bee looked back at her hip; the bandage ran down to her paw. She
drifted off
into a deep sleep again.
George walked over to Ritz, and thanked him. Ritz smelled him, and gave
him a
nudge toward the door. George glanced at Buck. Buck yelled he wants us
to follow
him. Ritz barked, and his master opened the door. They all strode
through the door.
George glanced around for Miss Bee. He stopped dead in his tracks when
he saw
her laying on the mat with her tongue hanging out. The man said, "she's
alright,
she's only sleeping." He laid a mat next to her, and told George to lye
down beside
her. George did just that he smelled her, and licked her ear.
Miss Bee thought she could smell George. She turned slightly, and there
he was
staring at her. She blinked, and wondered if she was still dreaming.
George licked
her ear again. Miss Bee knew then, she wasn't dreaming. She cuddled
closer, and they both purred together. The End!
